Ultimately a goal would be to create an interface that subtracts the variations between the different DF curves. The different HF attenuation curves from post #2 would be included for subtraction. More research is required on my part to get this off the ground. The fact that headphones follow the targets to varying degrees can't be ignored, I'm not convinced whether it make such an effort a waste of time or not. Maybe the ear canal, concha and pinna gain would need be considered individually to truly benefit the listener but makes things more complicated than dealing with averages. Your input is appericiated.
