What are these apps?

I found this screenshot in another thread.

The member who posted it seems to be banned now.

I wonder what the two apps between iTunes and FrontRow in his dock are.

the first seems like a player to me, the second probably has to do with headphones.

Does anyone know?

They are two audio apps. The first is Pure Music, an app which clamps on to iTunes like Amarra. It works through enhancing or otherwise changing that application.

The second is a music player and alternative to iTunes called Songbird. It's more modifiable, and has a multitude of plugins.

Thanks a lot!  :)

PureMusic I have tested once, but I use Fidelia and/or Audirvan Plus now.

Never heard about Songbird though. It looks indeed like a pure iTunes alternative with a lot of functions unlike the other players that try to improve SQ.

No problem!
Check out the Beta for Fidelia. Some neat headphone controls being tested in it.

Yes, I have it already. Works quite good IMO. I have both controls set to 50% and it brings out the mids nicely.

I emailed a little with their support team and it's something they want to develop further.
