My friend purchased his HFI-780 recently (December 2011) and his ear pads are much softer and the leather is much softer as well. Mine (Purchased December 2010) are stiff and uncomfortable. I want to replace my harder and more uncomfortable ear pads with new ones but I don't want it to change my soundstage (like the Beyer ear pads).
I was wondering if there is a place to purchase these softer Ultrasone ear pads. I checked online and emailed Ultrasone several times but I have yet to receive a response.
