First of all, a hello, as this is my first post after lurking for quite a long time.
I recently bought a Cowon Q5 from gazelle on ebay. In good condition, for only $75. It should be in friday. From what I've read, the Q5 seems to be the Korean version, but the custom shell's language can be changed to english, so no worries. I am wondering, however, if the WinCE environment can be changed to english. Has anyone had any success installing the Q5w firmware on a Q5? Or is thre perhaps an available language pack? Or could it be possible just to install a generic WinCE MIPS release and then install the shell over it? I'm most interested in using both environments, probably fairly equally, so i'd rather not sacrifice one for the other.
Also, can anyone testify as to the sound of the device and it's equilization options. I'm no audiophile, but i've recently recieved a pair of V-Moda M80's for christmas and find them to better suit my tastes with a bit of equilization(I know, gasps, shocked faces). I am what you'd call a mainstream consumer, so do prefer upped bass and a bit higher trebel. The M80's have amazing bass, when it's there, I just wish it was there more often. I'll be doing a review of them soon, both with a flat EQ and custom. Probably when my Q5 gets in and set up.

PS: My current player(after switching back from an ipod nano 5g) is my zune 1st gen. And the acoustic eq preset gets closer to my preference. Just to give those whith a zune an idea of what I like.
