No, you dont need an adapter for that. Just good soldering skills. 

 

I've heard good things about this opamp on little dot amps, you can also try rolling tubes.

What does he need to solder?  That opamp is plug-n-play into the Little Dot.

Does it come with a DIP socket? cool. 

 

I said because most opamps are soldered, but if im wrong..my bad.
