Hi all,

 

I have a stock ibasso D1 v2 (w/ LT1364 opamps).  I am planning on purchasing a new amp; my budget is <$280.  I have read alot of reviews and have narrowed things down to these options.  I will be using a Macbook pro as a source listening through Beyer 880, 250 ohm headphones.  I am planning on using the D1 as a DAC unless anyone has any better ideas.

 

Maverick Tubemagic A1 $240

Sense G3 - $170

Schiit Asgard - $250

M-stage - $250

LIttle dot II/III - $170/225

Hifiman EF2 - $170

 

I have two major questions:

1.)  Would any of these be a lateral move from the iBasso D1?  I know that the amp is pretty weak in the D1, but the DAC isn't too bad.  

 

2.)  What are your opinions on these amps paired with the Beyer 880, 250 ohm?  My main criticism of my setup is that is just lacks umph, especially in the bass department.
