Help me pick an amp to match my DAC + headphones + music tastes

Hi, I've got a tidbit of cash leftover from Christmas ($600ish AUD) and I've decided it's time to get a better amp.

I currently have a set of 32ohm DT880, AKG K701, and am looking to pick up a pair of Alessandro MS1i

I have an Audio-GD NFB-2 http://www.audio-gd.com/Pro/dac/NFB-2/NFB2EN.htm

I listen to a fairly small selection of music:

Nightwish, Flowing Tears, Strapping Young Lad, Theatre of Tragedy (early work), Xandria

 

I had thought I might get an Audio-GD C2.2 to match the DAC and try out ACSS, but I might be able to pick up something else second hand that's better. Perhaps a Burson HA160? I'd like some amp suggestions to go with my current gear and budget :)

Melbournite!

I have an NFB3 and a C-2.2 and im using K702s.

Before that my amp was an M-Stage which is known for being a good budget match with the K70x.

And I believed that until I got the matching C-2 however the upgrade was staggering. ACSS is the shizz. 

It really is worth going to ACSS route if your DAC supports it.
