Is there a connector at the bottom of the N910 for the DC charging?dc connector.PNG

when i read manual, i saw that image, but its only external power, for charging i should connect power dc whith charging stand.

maybe you need the 3V DC connector

i would guess your battery is maybe finished and charging doesn't do anything anymore.  I have a Sony MZ N10 (internal battery) and I charge it o the charging stand for 6 hours and in less than 20 minutes the battery loses juice on its own from playback.

don't get too mad just yet.

Try

I used to have a md recorder that did this too.  You have to press stop to charge the device.  And you cannot use the device while it charges.

Yep that should be it. If you still have the adapter you are good but, as mentioned, you need to press CHG to start the charging. The N910 is a very nice unit, btw. A charger like I mentioned before is also a good idea since it charges other types and you can charge a second gumstick outside the unit and just pop it in since you can't charge and play at the same time.
