E7+E9 vs E17+E9?

Hey guys

Will there be a lot of difference in performance with these two combos? I will be using HD555 and ATH M50.

I'll be able to give you an opinion once I get my E17 (on order).   I'm currently using the E7+E9 combo with ATH-M50s

How does the combo you cuurrently work w your ath m50? Im getting my m50 in a week! So excited! smily_headphones1.gif

Hi

 

I have heard (on headfonia i think) that as a combo the E17 reduces the mids somewhat. Seeing as I have D7000 i have decided not to upgrade. However as an portable amp (same article) the E17 is better.

 

All other peoples opinions though....
