Hello friends,

 

I am looking for a decent sounding portable combo that I can carry arround without much trouble. First I want to talk about the source gear:

 

1. Source Gear

 

a) Ipod Touch 32GB 5G

 

b) Ipod Classic (late 2009)

 

c) Alternatives (up to 350€)

 

Since I will be listening from or through the LOD will there be a difference in sound? My first priority is audio, audio and audio only. I don't care about games, just quality and ease of use.

 

 

2. portable Amp

 

a) FiiO E6

 

b) FiiO E11

 

c) Alternatives?

 

Is there a great noticable difference between the E6 and E11? Will the E11 (which is "less" portable) be necessary?

iPod Classic, and a RSA headphone amp and what headphones are you using?
