Problem with my headphone.

Hey guys i have a problem with a headphone. the left side of my mdr zx500 headphone has less bass than the right side. I have a few speculations about why that is. Either it was from the 5 feet drop to a concrete ground or I blew the left side up with the amp I got. Do you which one it is? Also can it be repaired. If not what can I do with it?

It might not be sealing properly.  Is it sealing around your ear or do you see any cracks in it?

Yes or bad matched left driver.

Maybe.  From the context I was assuming it wasn't like that from the start though.

In addition to what's been said, a drop could have dislodged the left driver, and a bad coupling of the driver to the baffle could be the cause.  It shouldn't be too hard to get in there and make sure the driver hasn't come loose.  You should be able to remove the ear pad, and then remove the screws (generally speaking; I haven't seen the ZX500 up close) to separate the baffle from the cup.  Re-screw or re-glue the driver as needed, make sure everything is tight, and see if that fixes the issue.

Yea I check the driver itself too to see if it was dislodged/sealed correctly or not. However i don't think that is the problem. Seems to be both are sealed in place. Even when I dislodged both of the drivers and checked the sound quality without the container it still lacks bass on the left side. I'm guess the left driver was some how damage from the drop? I don't think its the wires either. When I adjust the wiring nothing happens and from what I said it doesn't seem like a wire problem.
