Looking for a good gaming headset surround sound setup. Read some good reviews on the Astro Mixamp so I am looking to buy the Mixamp and pair it with a good quality headset.
Been researching the heck out of the PC360 and the MMX. Both get really good reviews. The PC360 is a open system and the MMX is closed. Not sure which would be better for gaming. I'll be using these strictly at home for gaming on Xbox.
The PC360 has some cool features like volume control on the earcup and turning the mic up straight up mutes it. The frequency response on the MMX is better, however, they are about $100 more.
Anyone have any input on either of these two headsets? Is the MMX worth the extra $100?
