The AKG K270s are the classic, big huge studio headphones. There is little doubt if you see someone in these cans, they're tracking tasty licks on a new album. Despite their size, they do tend...

I'll keep this very short. They are very smooth sounding. Treble toned down so not so good for rock but have a magic about them that makes them better than mark 2. I use them with a '89/'90...

Bought these on whim, for your basic train ride to work I don't mind. But its far from being the best I have own.

First, I should note that I auditioned these both straight out of the box, without any break-in time and then later after 53 hours of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite...

A very all-round headphone for me. Just the right one to take on the go or on holiday. Also as a DJ, nice noice isolation. Very durable so you don't have to wonder if it will break if you throw...

Why do you want Beats...? Have you not tried any others...? There are many better headphones out there for less money. That said if you only want to just make a fashion statement then the Beats are definitely for you.
I really want beats, yes most likely for the fashion statement what out of those are the best ones?

If you want the Beats, get them. Enjoy them. But, honestly, this isn't the best place to talk about Beats. They are pretty hated around here. As long as you like what have, that's awesome. Don't let others sway your opinion. Enjoy!
Other than beats at around 300 dollars what would you suggest?

What is your music preference? Listening environment? What will you plug the headphones in to?
My favorite is hip/hop and rap also very bassy things (dubstep, techno etc). I will be listening in everyday places, walking on the street in my house etc. I will be pluging in to computer and iphone.

I think the Beyerdynamic DT770 32 ohm is a much better headphone than Beats. Those might be worth looking in to. Any chance you can listen to various headphones before buying?
