Hey guys,
I'm looking for an IEM in the range of 200-300 CHF/$. I'll use them mainly outdoors, while travelling (train) and at work. It would be nice if they would do a good job in isolating, but that's no make-or-break. They should also be comfortable to wear for some hours - but I think that should be natural in this price range anyway.
As for the music I listen to pretty much every style except maybe metal and hiphop. But since there is no IEM for everything it should be suited best to play orchestral soundtracks. That's not only epic scores such as Lord of the rings and so forth but also more quite, classical stuff.
So far I've been thinking about the following ones, but I'm also open for other suggestions:
- Grado GR8
- Shure SE425
- Sennheiser IE8i
- Klipsch X10i
- Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10
Oh and the devices to play music are mostly apple portables(iphone/nano) and computers.
