Need a new mp3 player (preferably cheap)

Hi I am looking for a new mp3 player to replace my Zune HD. Don't get me wrong, I love the Zune HD, but it doesn't have a custom eq which sucks.

Therefore I am going to end up selling my Zune HD in order to help pay for this new player. Here is what I am looking for:

-Good SQ

-Customizable EQ (5 band is fine)

-able to last and not flimsy

-large or expandable storage

-I really don't like using proprietary services to sync my music so drag and drop would be nice

-Not needed, but the ability to be rockboxed

I have been thinking about the Sansa Clip+ but then again I have heard people have been having problems with the audio jack coming loose and such.

Thank you for your time.

How cheap is cheap? As far as SQ goes, you could try a Cowon J3, or S9 if you only need 32GB. Otherwise the Clip+ should do it. (otherwise, try out a 5.5g iPod video. I've used one of those to great effect with Rockbox, but ended up returning it to get a Cowon S9 after hearing my friends.)

For around $60 you can get a 2GB Clip+ and a 32GB micro SDHC card. I have been using a Clip+ for around 30 months and haven't had any issues with it. The battery life is only around 12 hours though. The sound quality is great.
