Hi Headfiers,

     I am a longtime lurker who finally decided to join.  I have always been selective about my drivers for home and car but wasn't really paying attention to my headphones.  I sit at my desk all day at work so this needed a drastic change.  My lurkings on the board led to my soundmagic pl30's, grado SR80i, & AKG 518le's which I purchased today.  I also came across someone selling ATH700A on craigslist and got those for $20 and love them.  Thanks for being such an abundance of information.  Also I wanted to give a shoutout to a new store in Des Moines PEACHBUDZ.  Excellent headphone shop with a great selection.  So many to listen too and I see my paycheks flying before my eyes.  If you are in the area they are a must check out.

I like the AKG 518le but I need to get them stretched out a bit for longer wear.  I love the ATH700A but they spoil my ears a bit too much

I stretched out some headbands by putting the headphones around a pillow when not in use.  Seemed to help a little.
