Fiio E7 into HiFiMAN EF2A

Hi everyone,

 

Is it possible to run the DAC portion of the FiioE7 into the HiFiMan EF2A Amp portion?

 

I've heard the DAC is better on the E7 than the HiFiMan, but can anybody share the why behind it?

 

Also, how would one go about hooking this up?

 

Source would be an iMac 27" and the headphones would be the Denon AH-D5000.

IF anybody has any thoughts on E7/E9 combo vs the HiFiMAN EF2a that would be great too!

yeah but you need a line out cable for the e7, i think its the fiio l7?

thats why you need the cable adapter for the dock out to line out 

 

(the dock connector the e9 uses)
