Why no dedicated speaker subforum?

Why?  What do speakers have to do with cables, power components, tweaks and accessories or DBTs that they get lumped into that subforum?  I know this is head-fi but a huge portion of classic hifi enthusiasts are cut off from this site.  I don't get it.

I post this mainly because I feel we're missing out on a huge wealth of knowledge from people in the speaker world.

It is ridiculous and ironic that speakers are in the subforum where double blinded testing is not allowed to be discussed.

But many people talk about speakers in the computer subforum. There's a wealth of knowledge about DIY speaker building and damping and wall lining outside of head-fi though.

It is a shame, really. I avoid that subforum like the plague, but there's no where else here to absorb speaker knowledge.

It's kind of ironic speakers are lumped in the forum where the no DBT rule is explicitly written since DBTing speakers has very high rates of positives.

Seems like you all get it, and others probably do as well.  I wonder how to call attention to this, maybe I should "flag" my own post.

There's a feedback/suggestion subforum.
