Audio-GD FUN question.

Hi, I just bought an Audio-GD FUN DAC/AMP and read that it supports 24/96 through USB. But when I plug it into my MacBook Pro via USB, It does not give me the option for 24bit or 96KHz. Am I doing something wrong or is there something wrong with it?

Thanks.

That happened to me as well. It was a USB module problem. All I had to do was email them and they sent me another one completely free and it arrived in no more than one week to Miami.

If I bought mine used, do you still think they will send me a new module?

Well, being so, I doubt it. You can still buy it for around USD$20 + shipping. Again, that is what happened to me. You can try the FUN on other computers (and OS) just to make sure.

Thanks a lot. I've emailed them about the problem. May I ask what the procedure is of swapping out the USB module?

It is fairly simply as almost everything inside the FUN is modular. The steps would be:

  1. Turn it off
  2. Gently pull out the USB module (http://audio-gd.com/Pro/Headphoneamp/FUN/FUN-TE.jpg)
  3. Put the new one on
  4. Turn on and test
