They are discontinued so the HYPE has started.

 

You are specificaly interested in technics or ....

Cripes, even the original price is a bit rough... for that you can get a music hall (MMF 2.2, or similar), or rega (RP1)

I think DJs have popularized the 1200s so much, that people sometimes don't consider other tables. My pair of 1200s have proven so reliable and sturdy, I haven't been curious about other tables, until people bring it to my attention.

 

If he just wants one for listening, something like the Dual 1019, would do the job as well.

Nah I was kind of looking for one for DJing and listening, maybe i'll pick up a used pair i dunno
