Help for new in-ear plugs! Budget > 150 GBP.

Hi all! I was slightly ignorant yesterday, as I bought a set of Monster Turbine (overpriced I know) for Iphone. The reason for this was that I just untill now had my Monster Turbine Vanilla, and they have been good enough for me. But since Monster makes non-lasting products, the cable after less than 8 months was crippled and I only got sound on one of the plugs. So I had to go to the store and replace them, and the only one they had were the ones for Iphone, which I thought was okey. My Android wouldn't be able to change song, but other than that function properly. But that didn't happen, and I only get full sound as long as I keep the "play" button on the headset in when listening to music from my phone.

So I need a new set. And it has to be from HMV, they have to be able to get it in other words.

HMV.CO.UK

And my budget is less than 150 pounds. I know I could get better cheaper on the internet, but that is not an option as I cannot get a refund now.

Options are as I can see from their homepage.

Denon AHC710 Premium In Ear Headphone

Vanilla Monster Turbine

House Of Marley Freedom: Zion Midnight (Whatever that is??)
Bose Mie2i
Bose Ie2

Blackbox I10 NC

So I guess it boils down to, should I keep the Turbine above the Bose or Denon?

I prefer clarity above huge bass, and listen to Electronic, Metal, Black Metal, Trance, Pop and Rock and Classical music. Whatever suits my mood that day. Pretty much everything that is not made in the 70's or 80's.

Thanks for any advice!

Surely you can rule out the Vanilla Monster Turbines, as you already stated, they make "non-lasting products."

As for the Blackbox I10, these only work with an iPhone and I believe you said you don't have an iPhone.

If I was in your position I'd go for the Denon AHC710.

Well I do have the insurance and the new Monster ones are rightplugged at the jack end, contra straight plugged at the old ones I had. That should surely help. And I do like their sound.

Other than the Denon, which ones are the best if I could get a refound or if they have some other brands. Does for example Sennheiser have something better below 150 ?

if you cant get a refund take the denons

If you can get a refund id pick the yamaha EPH-100 at £80 or the vsonic GR07 at £105 Otherwise it's the denons for you.

Oki. Thanks all! These are, soundquality speaking, better than turbine?
