Allen & Heath Xone:XD-20 Advanced Bass In-Ear Headphones

Hey everyone, first post here and audio illiterate. Came across these earphones and was wondering if anyone have them? I've heard Allen & Heath are a legit DJ company (really tempted to get the xone 53 headphones as well) but just wanted to make sure that these have:

*Lows

*Mids

*Highs

*Durability

*Comfortable

If anyone have these or recommend something else even better (willing to spend from $60 - $150), help is appreciated, Cheers smile.gif

Any recommendations? This is for casual use and I don't go to the gym but I'll be walking around a lot. Also listen to lots of electronic music such as Atmospheric/Deep Dubstep, UK Hard House, Trance, Drum & Bass, Classic Hardcore, Darkpsy, etc and this is mainly through my Ipod Classic and Dell i3core laptop.

Looks like I'll stick to these, read a solid review that these are more preferable than the Xone headphones from the same company (which famous DJs use like Chris Liebing, John Digweed, and Richie Plastikman Hawtin)

What's your price range for headphones?

Erm for headphones I would say nothing over $200. So far the Xone XD 53 tops everything except a few reviews are saying that the bass could be louder (response 5 - 33khz). They also say it's a bit heavy, but they are DJ headphones after all and I don't mind too much knowing that I'll use it at home mostly and earphones on the go (a youtube video says Sony mdr v700 are heavier than these but again I don't mind just as long as they arent like freaking 10 lbs).

The only one real downside I've read is for people who have small heads, this will be a loose fit and will fall off with headbanging but I don't do much of that haha. Other than that, apparently these will outlast any technics/pioneers and are more comfortable.

Future Sonics Atrios, B&W C5 (they do fare well with your genres, but aren't entirely worth their price in terms of SQ) for your genres. If you want to stay below 100, take a look at the Brainwavz M4, MEE CC51, ThinkSound TS02, or UE 500s.

thanks for the suggestions. those atrios sound pretty sick actually and I might have to look more into it but so far i found $180 and that is a bit of a stretch compared to the A&H
