Ultrasone HFi-780 @ ~115hrs. WOW!!

Well I started playing some Michael Jackson ripped in ALAC  and EQ off. I was totally speechless. These headphones are sounding better and better, or maybe its just me, lol. I'm still not sure if its a physical burn in or a mental burn in.

The bass was strong, but it stayed as bass. I could still hear the drums perfectly though it too! Sooo much clarity!

Just thought I'd share because I really was amazed at what I was hearing!

Ultrasone cans change their sound signature after some burn in..just wait till they reach the 200+ hours.

So is it normal for them to be Bass light unless you EQ in bass?

Nope. they need more burn-in. They can be modded to increase bass though.

Well getting more use to them over time probably have like 6 hours on them now. Plan to have them play all day tomorrow and see how they sound 20 hours in. I got both these new and a pair of used Sennheiser HD25-1 ii today immediately the Sennheisers sounded better but once I got home and hooked them up to my receiver I am enjoying both but its starting to tilt towards the HFI-780's.
