Hi there, I'm newish to head-fi. Been lurking for a while.
In certain parts of some songs, I hear a buzzing sound. It's a similar sound to what is heard when a source is louder than headphones can handle. I hear it at any volume level.
I think I've finally isolated the problem to the iPod Touch's line out. I've tried multiple headphones, multiple LOD's, and 2 amps (Fiio e7/e9 and Hornet), and disabling/fiddling with the EQ. The buzzing sound only goes away when I use a mini-to-mini rather than a LOD.
I cleaned out the dock and scraped the gold contacts with a toothpick. Any other ideas?
