Xonar DX and ZO2?

Are these pair-able? I will also use the ZO2 for my android too. What other options do I have if I own the Xonar DX in terms of AMPing my headphones?

I have not decided on my headphones yet, but if I do buy headphones that require an amp, I think I would like to go with the ZO2 because of the price/performance.

Thanks

so you are a bass lover? The E11 also has good price to performance....it's actually the best price to performance. the ZO2 lags behind in terms of price to performance actually. The PA2V2 and Cmoy and E11 are all ahead of it. However that is just in terms of rpice to performance. bass lovers will love the ZO2 and it will be better for them than the others. Decide on headphones. The E11 should also be know to you.

Yes. the ZO2 is a good capable amp

So I assume that the soundcard and the amp will pair ok?

My minds on the DT990/250s right now because of the nice soundstage. I am doing research because my top picks are the PRO900s and DT990s. Would the E11 or ZO2 be better for these headphones? I was planning on the A900s at first, but a lot of negatively from what I've read. I still might consider them though.

The E11 is known to be able to drive the DT990 and Pro 900's well. I dont know about the ZO2.

Can I get a confirmation that the DT990/250ohm will be driven by the E11 at the same performance as the ZO2 or close?

if you heard the ZO2 can drive it then the E11 can as well; probably. The ZO2 does not have published amplifcation milliwattage.
