Connecting Headphone to TV, recommendations needed?

Hello i'm a newbie, i hope i started the topic in the right place?

I just got an ultrasone pro 900 headphone for watching movies especially,

i ordered fiio e9+e7 for laptop, and also copper cables for ipod out and for extension.

My question is when watching movies from Panasonic TX50G20E plasma tv

with bluray player which is connected to TV with hdmi and bluray player

doesnt have a direct headphone out.

I connect my headphone directly to TV's headphone out (1/8) ,

The sound is really fantastic ok, but can i improve it? Do you recommend

connecting TV's RCA out to e7+e9 and get the sound from headphone amphi?

I dont have a chance to get a standart desktop amphi for now,

what can you recommend? I believe that TV's sound chipset gives me the

sound, i dont know do i have another chance to improve it for headphones?

Connect your E9 to the RCA outputs on the back of your Blu-ray player and Cable/Satellite box.

Just hook up two sets RCA cables, one from the Blu-ray and one from the Cable/satellite box.

Keep the other ends of the two sets of RCA cables near your E9, swap RCAs when needed.

Hello thank you very much,

For to make clear, you recommend connecting bluray player and tv'S RCA outputs to e9

and i will connect my headphone to e9, it's okay. You mean i will switch RCA outputs

when i use tv or bluray, right? Thanks again.

Or you could hook up the bluray and cable box directly to the TV then get another set of RCAs to hook up from the audio out on the TV to the E9

edit: like u had already mentioned but I skipped biggrin.gif

RCAs from the Blu-ray player

RCAs from your Cable box or Satellite box, not the T.V.

Sometimes the RCA outputs on TVs are weak.

But you should at least test the TVs RCA outputs, see how well they work.

If the RCAs on the TV work, then you just need to use the one set of RCA cables.

Hmm, ok its clear now, first i'll give a try TV's RCA out'S because both of the satellite player and

bluray player is cabled with hdmi to TV, so if it satisfies me (TV's output) i'll use only one and standart

output for both. Thank you again :)
