I currently use my E7 through my Macbook Pro, I have no intent on using mobile with my iPhone. I use the Audio Technica M50, will I notice a difference in the sound quality with the e10? Good, or worse, and what differences if any? Basically is it worth me sending E7 back to get the e10?

Bought these on whim, for your basic train ride to work I don't mind. But its far from being the best I have own.

First, I should note that I auditioned these both straight out of the box, without any break-in time and then later after 53 hours of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite...

A very all-round headphone for me. Just the right one to take on the go or on holiday. Also as a DJ, nice noice isolation. Very durable so you don't have to wonder if it will break if you throw...

This quick review is done after a few hours of listening. I bought them from B&H for the decent sum of 150$. If you've done your research you'll find out that Ultrasone HPs are known for their...

I auditioned the SRH-1840 straight out of the box, and was unsatisfied with the sound, so I decided to give them a period of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite differences...

The only big differnce is the amp. The E10 from Headfonia's review has better mids, tighter, more soundstage and more bass due to the amplifier in the E10. If you can just send the E7 back and get the E10 for little additional money..then do it . it's a better sounding DAC/Amp than the E7. i would also advicse that the E17 Alpen is due out. IT is noticebaly better than the E10. however, it is also $135-$150

this review should answer every single one of ur questions.
thanks for replying! I was hoping to stay in the sub 100 dollar rage, so the e17 is a little over that. The e10 is actually cheaper, and if its noticeably better, i've got nothing to loose! I was just wondering if i would be able to notice the subtle difference, but it seems like i would. thanks again

your welcome. and to clarrify in case u are still unsure. the E10 is better than E7 sounding. quite noticebaly from reviews :) since u aren't using and won't be using portably. i can't / won't recommend the E17. The E10 and E7's amp is ...not too too powerful but since u are doing fine with the E7. your headphones are not hard to drive then :)
