Need help with setting up of Network Attached Storage (NAS) with MAcBook Pro

PRODUCT: QNAP TS-410 TurboNAS- 4 bays

HD drive: one Seagate Barracuda Green 2TB

 

 

 

So, ITune does recognize the NAS but the NAS will not pick up my files

 

possible problems:

1. corrupt ID3 tags of files . What program will fix tagging? Got Tuneup

2. Me. Any better NAS for novice like me -easier to set up.

3. I am open to other recommendations: I just want to be able to store all my files in one place and have access and ability to expand as my files grow.

Hmmm, firmware problem? Try updating the NAS firmware.

updating firmware did not fix my problem. I can not figure out what I am doing wrong
