In Ear Monitors for Drumming

Thread Starter

I need some in ear monitors for drumming that offer very good sound isolation. I only really want to spend £30, but if i have to i can spend more.

I've heard the SoundMAGIC E10's are very good, but might need some Comply t400 tips, but i don't know which size would fit my ear :S.

Do you have any other recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

The E10 doesn't seem to isolate that well. The Etymotic MC5 isolates much better, however it is still only around 20db or so for the lower frequencies. I guess that is about the best you can do for around 40 quid or so. The HF5 sounds better and also isolates well, however it might be much more expensive.
