I think that ATH-M50's are perfect for you, they have very good bass response and if you EQ them for bass they can be kind of overpowering especially with a nice amp. Although you don't need an amp for them to shine with only 38 ohms of impedance. People say the mids are a bit recessed but to me the mids and highs seem equal and neutral, like they should. They are the kind of headphones you can listen with no EQ at all and it sounds perfect, they have a very neutral sound. If you are looking to use DSP like virtual 7.1 and such it doesn't have the greatest soundstage, and it takes a while for them to break-in (comfort-wise). But that is their only downfalls that I can detect after owning them for 2 months or so, with them on my head 5-6 hours a day.

I know you're looking for over-ear but you should check out the TMA-1 for on-ears they are, in my opinion, excellent sounding and pretty good for hip hop. $200.

Aiaiai TMA-1? Great on-ear bass cannons.

Again the on-ears just aren't my thing. I need BIG cans.

Also About amps, I've got 50$ on a visa card and that is my only way to order stuff online for now. Would I be ok buying an Fiio E6 for now? Is there a big difference between it and the others. (Just saying it because it's cheap.)

Sony XB700/1000, Denon D1100/Creative Aruvina live, Skullcandy Aviator.

I'll second the DT 770 Pros (80 Ohm).  Very punchy.  Cable's a little long, but they're definitely around the ear and they're durable.

I beleive I'll be going with either the Pro700mkII's or the ATH-M50's. Now to figure out the amp situation. Anything under 50$.

a Cmoy Amp? They run off batteries but some have a plug, they are for on the go amping. But would work well for a little at home amp .

Pretty sure they usually go for around $80, but if you can find one for $50 or less, that would be a good bet.

The JDS Labs version (pretty much the standard for CMoy amps) is $60. Out of the cans mentioned, I think the PRO700MKII would fit your needs the most. The new white-box M50 isn't truly all that bassy (it is a bit bass-biased, but it's nothing like an Ultrasone), nor is it neutral enough to satisfy the market for neutrality lovers. The PRO700MKII is specifically made for bassheads, and is also a pretty good-quality can.

Sincerely,

you can find them on e-bay for around 40.

Beyerdynamics had great bass when I demo'd them today.

After much thought and consideration i've ordered a Fiio E6 Amp along with an LOD with a right angle jack and an ipod jack. I will be ordering the Pro700mk2's in the next month or so. Thanks for all the help guys!! I'll post pics when I get everything!
