picture upload problem.

doesn't work in opera 12. Works in chrome.

Same. Probably not going to get fixed for a long while, if ever, considering the vanishingly small numbers of people who use Opera. Perhaps version 12 will fix it?

i am using v12 though. I presume you're using 11.61?

wonder how long you'll last :P.
using next is a bit sadomaso. It's been a bit better lately, maybe they started testing them a bit more before release, but it used to be very buggy and crash pretty badly. (and hey they're pre beta/rc releases, so that's expected)

Not working for me today when trying to post a classified.  I tried IE 9 and Firefox.  Submitting a feedback/bug report.

PredatorZ and Dosley01, thanks for reporting this.

 

Here's some questions to better allow the tech team to investigate the issue:

 

  • Have you tried turning off any extensions or add-ons you may be running?
  • You say you tried IE9 and Firefox - which version of Firefox are you using?
  • Do you have Flash installed?
  • How large are the images you are trying to upload?
  • Are you receiving an error message?
  • Can you outline the steps you are performing to run into this issue, or would it be possible for you to use Jing to record your steps so the tech team can see exactly what steps you are taking to encounter this issue?

 

This information will help the tech team with investigating the issue, by allowing them to more accurately follow the steps you took when encountering the issue.

Joe,

 

I fixed the problem on my end, it was our firewalls here at work blocking the image upload.  We use Palo Alto Next Gen firewalls and it was classifying the upload as an application we did not have in our allow list.

It looks like we all had the same problem. It worked for me today, anyway...

Same here. a few days after I reported the issue it loaded my pics just fine, I had a fresh install of win7, so there is a hi likelihood I may not of had flash installed, or some other update, sorry for my slow response, School was just starting and I was late registering and looking for work at the same time and was remiss in following the forums.
