Hey Guys. I've been a dweller on these forums for a while, and this is my first post as I need some help. I know there are a million threads on this topic, but I wanted to tell you what I have tried before and what I am looking for exactly. My first "quality" headphones were the Beats by Dr. Dre Studios. Man, what was I thinking. I sold those, and I bought some Shure SRH940s for general listening at home. I am very satisfied with those, although they don't have the most boomy bass. Recently I've been looking for some good IEMs for use mainly at school and on the go. I researched a lot (but, evidently not enough) and I found the NuForce NE-700Ms. I got them, and I was sorely disappointed. I wanted to tell you what I thought of them so that you can recommend something to me more accurately. I found them very bass heavy, and not the good kind. Very muddy and slow. Also, there was no clarity in the upper range of the spectrum. The highs I felt were recessed also. I didn't listen to them a whole lot, so this may not be accurate, but I did let them burn in. I am returning them. What do you recommend? I've seen very good and bad reviews of most of what I've been looking at. I've been looking at the Klipsch Image S4s, the Brainwavz M2, M3, and M4, the Diddybeats (only because I've read good reviews about them), and the RHA MA-350s. I may be able to stretch my budget a little (the Klipsch Image X10s are $140 on Amazon).
Thanks so much guys!
