Replacing JVC HA-RX700 pads.

Hey guys, this is my first time on Head-Fi, and I'm just getting into decent headphones after wasting money on ear buds for years.

I've just purchased a pair of JVC HA-RX700 cans, and have read that the ear pads aren't nearly as comfortable as the pads on the 900. I have also read that the pads on the 700 are pretty easy to pop off, so I was wondering if I could potentially replace 700 pads with 900 pads.

Does anyone have any experience doing this, and would the 900 pads even fit?

Additionally, if it does/would work, does anyone have a pair of broken or non used HA-RX900's that would be willing to sell me the pads?

You can order them from jvc:

And yes, they fit.

Thanks for the quick reply.

This will be useful, as my main concern with the 700 was the breathability and comfort.
