You know, being a paraplegic I'm not too fond of that joke. Besides, plenty of quads have some measure of arm and even finger mobility. The term applies to the result of any spinal cord injury along the cervical vertebrae and not every injury results in total paralysis.

 

Not quite in the spirit of the thread, but this being the science forum I thought it was worth dispelling this misconception.

I have two systems. Both have modest but professional quality gear, with excellent loudspeakers in rooms that are well treated. I do have a pair of Sony earphones, but they're not high end and I use them only when editing speech and music to hear soft details that might be missed on the speakers playing at normal volume.
