I'm looking for some comfortable headphones with great sound quality and slightly exaggerated sub bass and midbass without drowning out the mids and highs.

I hate round earpads, and I prefer oval earpads for comfort. I know that they can be swapped out for oval ones on the Audio Technicas, but what about the Denon and Shures?

I wish I could see some frequency response graphs for these. I know that the Denons and Audio Technicas have 53 mm drivers while the Shures have 50mm ones.

Would that little extra size make a noticable difference in sub bass?

How do you think the sub bass on these 3 compares to the Sony XB-500, XB-700, and Denon AH-D1100?
