Hi, I'm looking to replace my Monster Turbines (lost them). I'm by no means an audiophile but I can tell the difference between terrible, decent, and great. I tried going back to stock earphones but I couldn't listen past 10 seconds because they sounded so bad.
So now I'm looking to get a new pair of IEMs. Preferably nothing past $200 but if it's really great than I wouldn't mind stretching the budget.
I've been looking at the Westone 1s, Westone UM1s, Shure SE215s, Ultimate Ears Triple.Fi 10 (on sale on Amazon for 160 something, don't know how long though) and the Panasonic RP-HJE900s (although I'm having trouble finding ones in my price range).
I prefer something warmer and more lively sounding.
I'd also like these to last long, so I would pay more for durability. I've heard mixed reviews of the Westone 1s and Westone UM1s durability, some saying they die every month and some saying they last for years. I'm probably only going to buy 1 IEM until it breaks/I lose them (poor student) so I'd like them to last a long ti me.
I'm sure there are many many great IEMs for me to buy so feel free to recommend any.
