I don't have I feel about Monster products, but I'm hoping that other companies will try to exploit the rift (even if there likely will still be a steady supply of Beats by Dre) to put their forth own fashion forward, high quality audio. I like the Klipsch M40 but they've gotta hit the other parts of the spectrum, price wise. If someone does want to use headphones as an accessory, there are pretty slim pickings at this point, that aren't Beats, Souls, or Skull Candy's.

I have to say though, that the business models that Monster is releasing looks pretty good. Heavy and chunky and not for me, but pretty good. I don't have high hopes for them but if they're being marketed towards the more established types, they'll have to be less bass biased. At the very least, the bass probably won't overpower everything else.

Bleh. The Diesel Vektr looks deformed and uncomfortable and the iSport looks crap.

I assume this is all form no performance as usual?

Is it just me or the problem with the pictures here is everyone looks like a celeb status?  Not one single guy who looks like an audiophile/headphone enthusiasts in terms of looks or anything.  If there is one they sure are blending in.

More fashion accessories.

Nothing changed. Just more junk products to flood the market.

Very best,

Yawn.

They are doing something that other headphone companies need to exploit... creating a headphone that can be used as a fashion accessory.

Most headphones are boring looking. They're smart to market fashionable, mobile headphone units.

That would be really cool if they actually turned out to be reputable here on Head-Fi.
