Newbee looking for a pair oh headphones

Hello,

I am looking at purchasing a pair of some quality headphones with a 200.00 budget, Currently I have been researching the following:

sennheiser hd 25-1 ii

ATH-M50

The amp I am using is the Portal Panache integrated.

I do not need anything portable, they will be used in home only, Open Air or over the ears is good either way. I do not need anything overly analytical our reveling, However the Portal Panache has a slightly warm tone and does smooth out some not so good recordings. Any insight our guidance is appreciated,

If you're considering the m50s, be sure to check out the Ultrasone HFi-780s. They have a bit more bass and imo, look much nicer. Here's a video review I made of them.

BTW, I was sick when I made this video and had a stuffy nose. I also didn't appreciate the headphones as much as I do now, as they sound muuuuucccchhhh better after some burn in time. Take a look if you think it will help you.

HFi780 is a very good headphone, much better than M50 imo, but i disagree with bass, M50 has more bass and they are more punchy. HFi780 has a very good quality bass, but its a less bass oriented headphone than M50. HFi580 its different.

HD598/AD900... for open headphone or SRH840/A900/HFi780... the HFi780 is more a fun sounding headphone, others being more natural.

If i have to retain only one in each category : HD598/SRH840 imo but if you want much more bass, take the HFi780.
