Hey folks,

I've spent quite a lot of time listening to my music with headphones lately so I've got myself a "good" pair of cans for Christmas: Grado sr-325is (thanks to all the head-fiers enthusiasts that provided crazy detailed reviews, it did help a lot!).

My setup is the following:

iTunes with ALAC files (Lossless format) -- MacbookAir -- external USB card - Grados.

The USB card I'm using at this time is a Tascam US-122MKII that I bought a few years ago to be able to connect my keyboard(P120) to the computer (midi in/out) and I'm wondering if I should invest in another sound card.

It's not that the sound is bad, actually it sounds a bit warmer, deeper and cleaner that the macbook output but I guess it doesn't really drive the Grados at the fullest potential.

If anyone has an opinion or suggestion on this matter, please chime in!

Regards,
