HELP: SOUL by Ludacris - SL99 vs Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10 Noise Isolating Earphones

Hi, I was using the Shure SE535 headphones for a while until recently when they were stolen. But since I can no longer afford such high end IEMs. 

 

I was wondering if anyone can help me decide between the two. I am concerned about the cord of the TF-10s. Hearing a lot of bad things about it.

 

Any help would be appreciated!

Not even close...sound quality TF10 by thousand miles...though SL99 might fit better and a lot more comfortable for people other than those with big canals

Still kinda worried about the wires though. Are they any others around the price of the TF-10s that have better wires?

Honestly, the cable isn't all that bad as many people make it to be. It has a little rubbery feel to it but its bearable. But a cable upgrade would help the tf10s a lot since aftermarket cables tend to bring out the mids more in the tf10s. If you do end up going this route, i recommend the chris_himself cable made by our very own headfier!
