For my friend. He recently got the AKG k518's but says they clamp too hard.

They will need to isolate as he commutes to school

IEM's are fine aswell as long as they're bassy but do not lack detail in the mids/treble

 

(SR750dj's and xb500's have been considered and discarded as possibilities)

 

Any help is appreciated
