sony mdr-xb700 alternative

Hello everyone,

 

I'm looking for a headphone to listen to music when i'm at home, and my friend got a sony xb700. From the first minute I put them on i really loved them, I'm a bit of a bass head,  and I wanted to get one for myself. Put te problem is, I can't find them anywhere, there always sold out, even at the sony site. Does anyone know a good alternative for the sony mdr-xb700, or a please where I can buy them? My budet is about 100 euro ( about 130 dollar I think).

Where are you from?

 

In France you can have the xb700 for 50-65 €

 

XB700 is a good headphone, but you can have better with slightly more imo. HFi580 for example at 95-120 euros.

I'm from Holland, and the xb-700 is sold out everywhere. The thing that is most important to me is the bass, so I would really like headphones with good bass

XB700 has a lot of sub et mid bass for the price but its not punchy. HFi580 has less sub and mid bass, but HFi580 has much more punchy bass. Its a choice.

De MidTown online shop in Rotterdam heeft de beste Nederlandse prijs voor de ATH-M50.

The M50 actually a better bass punch than the XB700. I have a XB700 and it's mostly boomy and cavernous. Still quite the experience though... :)

 

EDIT: My bad, just read you only want to spend 100 euro. You could try this secondhand Beyerdynamic DT770 on Marktplaats.
