In need of bright sounding headphones - Page 2

have a peek through here ( unless you already did ) I notice you listed Superlux this is one of the better threads on them

Philips has some new nice looking cans out .  You MUST have Philips there.

They are the

SHP5401 http://www.head-fi.org/t/526833/philips-shp-5401#post_7106968 ( not exactly new but sounds similar to what you want soundwise )

SHP6000 just a pic in here http://cdn.head-fi.org/c/ca/900x600px-LL-ca6bf3fe_philips-shp6000_ipgh3w1024984.jpeg

SHP8000 pic http://cdn.head-fi.org/1/17/900x600px-LL-17a22f50_philips-shp8000_iph3w10772452.jpeg http://www.head-fi.org/t/579460/philips-shp-8000

, if I get to it i'll link some impressions if I can find any. Heard those Philips are comfortable. Sure look nice.

There's also the Takstar 2050 you could look into. http://www.head-fi.org/t/490678/i-find-this-headphoe-is-so-much-like-the-dt880

You'll have to check all these yourself further hopefully you can find something that works for your needs. You may have to equalize some stuff to perfectly match your tastes.

Happy hunting and good luck!

I found the Shure SRH440s to be bright yet punchy.  Nice sound if you can handle the comfort issues.

I found the Grado SR-60 (flat pads) to be slightly more comfortable than the 440s.
