Hm. My NE-700X has once again broken (third time in 1 year). Using mine very carefully but obviously not enough :p However, I'm not quite sure I want a new pair since the built quality seems to be really poor. I have the possibility to choose between Klipch Image S4 and NE-770, or a new pair of NE-700X. I'm thinking about trying the S4's, though I havn't heard them and I really like the sound of my 700X, will the 770 keep me satisfied? Will the S4's be a better deal?

PS:  I'm having trouble with the forum, and I can't go back deeper than about 40 unread subscribed threads, so I never saw this.

I haven't heard the S4 so I can't really help much.  But I think if you like the NE700X you will like the 770 which are cheaper.

Hello, I had Kanen KM92 eaphones from Dx and price is 4,70 euros

Today i bought Nu Force 770X black color for the price og 35,00 euros

Firtst impression is compared to Kanen KM92, that this is utter crap!!!

How can earbuds that are 7 times more expensive and legit company like NE be so so bad

SOUND is Clear but NO BASS, they are way too weak for bass. I listen to Dire straits -sultans of swing and KIUAS- Conqueror, hear that Nuforce is like a tin can.

Kanen is better at Metal. So far i Dislike Nu Force 770X because its money wasted! i coulda bought 7 eapbuds of kanen KM92 with that price.

NE 770X good for those ho does not care for bass. if u demand bass, U will hate these! But if bas is not important, These are Really good yes. But no bass.

These are my first impressions, This my first poist, Registered just to tell you all this.

maybe Ne770x will get better by time? but i prefer kanen KM92 now... beats the Sh*t out of the 770x in bass... SO 770x has no bass....at all...

Xperia S , PowerAmp full app. FLAC audio.

That's strange, because we have three sets of NE770x here in the house and they ALL have HUGE bass impact, even without an amplifier.

i suggest u order Kanen Km92 and do your point of view review, i would like to see what u will say, u are Pro, but i am very demanding in quality,

770x is Clear yess, But just not boomy bass. sounds like porridge.

I try to change to other pairt, these maybe not burned in yet or so, But first impresions after 6 Hrs od burn in still not ad good compared to Kanen Km92.

770x Is good yes, Just maybe i have faulty batch.(they just sound cheap to me. will replace.

thank you people for helping me.

I just ordered a pair, but I don't think me reviewing them will help with the fact that you aren't hearing the tight strong bass in your NE-770X that the rest of us are hearing with ours.  Maybe yours are faulty, or you are not getting the right fit in your ear canals.  I would keep trying to burn them in and get the fit right, or contact NuForce or the seller about a replacement set of NE-770x.

I look forward to your post on this when you get the chance.  I am considering the 600M, Brainwavz M3 and the SoundMagic E10.

I had the NE7M before and I really enjoyed the bass quantity and quality as well as the treble and soundstage but I had to replace them (under warranty) in the first half year and then the replacement pair only lasted six months too.  Then that was the end of the one year warranty period.

I mostly listen to electonica, drum and bass, hardstyle, and some pop.

Thanks!

I tried them again the other day, and I may still prefer the NE-770x very slightly over the M2, but also may prefer the M2 slightly over the M3. It's based on enjoyment and pleasure, and not strictly for technical reasons.

i gave my pair a proper burn in and they now sound great,

Better than Kanen KM92. though kanen still hase some advantages, i now prefer 770X after good burn in.

great clarity. bass is how it should be and its nice, not so Boomy and thats right.

I'm glad you are liking them - the bass definitely improved with burn in, but in my case it was better bass control and bass detail.

I was wondering whenether the $24 nuforce 600m would be a better buy over the $29 apple earpods. since it costs less ($5). is the sound comparable, or does one sound better?

of course! get Nuforce, and support local companies, apple is already standing on its feet so...go for Nuforce. atleast it is something different than all apple basic stuff.

I bought the earpods and while they're better than the original earbuds I still prefer the NE600 for their detail, clarity and depth.

One thing I love about the NE-6s - which I'm looking to upgrade - is the warmth and easiness on the ears. I feel like I could listen to them all day. However, they do give up a little too much on the high end - and I'm looking for the nu-force upgrade - bw/ the 600, 700, and 770 - that would best fit the description:

"like the NE-6s, but overall better all around. Wider dynamic range, but still very warm presentation, and solid but not overpowering bass with plenty of "oomph."

I'd be interested in hearing which of the three you - and others - would say best fits that description?

Thanks very much, I really appreciate the expertise here!
