stick with epic 4g (galaxy s) or get sansa??

I just got a pair of ety hf5's and love them so far, but trying to get best sound i can, within a budget. I am runnin voodoo sound and also have rockbox installed on epic, but having hard time getting good sound. I also have power amp, and have gotten better sound with that vs rockbox so far, but im still playing with settings so that may change. Ive heard good things about sansa sound quality with and without rockbox. Anyways, will this be a noticable upgrade, price is cheap so i wont be out much money, or should i save for cowon j3 or other options?

what is the best player sound quality wise without rockbox?? just interested in audio, no need for video, web, apss etc etc

well i got the ety hf5's and a clip+....shure olives on the way
anyone care to share there rockbox settings to give me a starting point to tweak and experement from
