For Sale:
Denon D7000 With Australian She-oak Cups and Diy-MarkL Mods

Will Ship To: Anywhere

I have for sale a pair of d7000 with Australian she-oak cups. I bought these from another headfier a little while back and the headpad was warped(seen in the first pic). I don't know how it happen, but it was in need of repair. I was able to repair it close to 100%. It's not quiet 100% stock, but it's really close.

I've done a few upgrades since I've had them. I applied my own version of the diymarkl mod. I find that the stock mod have reflection issues caused by the aluminum backing on the dynamat. This causes them to be a little sibilant and a little overly bright. With a lot of work, I was able to remove the aluminum backing with only the dampening material left. This also remove some of the weight since dynamat can be heavy. The result is all of the benefits of the mod without any of the problems it causes. I also did the pad stuffing mod, and this really opened up the sound stage. The dynamat in the cups were done by Mark himself, so I left that alon.

The headphone assembly has a few small blemishes/scratches, and the leather(ette) headband pad has a few imperfections. They are all minor and don't show up in the pics, but they are there. The Australian she-oak cups are in very good condition and are simply stunning IMO. Here's you chance to get the sound and look of a full la7000 lite for just a little more than what a stock pair goes for. I didn't get the original box, so it won't be included.
