Of course. But why not offer a rebate of equivalent value to international customers, rather than making them pay for the whole shipping costs?

They are already giving us an INSANE deal on what are obviously some of, if not THE, top universals on the market. Anyone here who is complaining about shipping...I'm sorry, its just absurdly foolish and I almost feel embarrassed when I think about how great Matt and Dale have been in dealing with us.
Bottom line: buy the phones or don't, either way quit WHINING.
When the issue doesn't affect you, it's surprisingly easy not to care and call other people whiners.

USPS insurance is based on the declared price of the item. It isn't that expensive -- I talk from repeated experience.
How heavy is the ASG-1 packaging? I've just received an 18-lb package through USPS. I'll go and check the exact shipping costs.... $47.95 (to Taiwan).
Alright, it's a flat-rate box, so the weight doesn't count (within certain limits), but I'd still be curious to know how heavy the ASG-1 packaging really is.

I fear the repeated screwing and unscrewing would quickly abrade the plastic and stop holding the faceplate in place.
