EQ didn't make them sound any better to me, just different, and less unique tbh. I wouldn't mind a hint more sparkle up top but not at the expense of dealing with EQing.

I found I added some "soundstage" or "sparkle" to my MG7's by adding to the highs a lil notch

Now someone should start the asg1filter thread 

I wonder if we can install that ourselves.

LOL, it's all good, although subject matter ain't relevent towards me, or therein applies, cuz when I first had my ASG's not a lick of the shoutyness were presant ford meh!, lol, yes yes yes spell check, unless, hhmmm, ,

 

but it took all of ten minutes for them to sounding awesome! well they DO take to amping uber well, Voyager+ZOv1=fantasmness! but then they would crackle when I'd get to whistling, so I contacted Dale, and he said to send them in? so's dey cuod teck a loke at dem, ggrrr, spell spell check, spell check where art thou spellcheck, sorry couldn'tr resist, but when they send them back Dale said they would install the filters that are removeable? so I will hollar at you all more later on! so there is that you all can be looking forwards to? , lol, should be the highlight of your weeks! NOT! lol,

Here's a (much) more useful suggestion: How about asking the OP to update the opening post in this thread with more links? It hasn't been updated for two weeks and there have been quite a few impressions since then. The links there at present do NOT give an accurate account, or even a close approximation, of what people have been reporting on the ASG-1's SQ -- most people hearing about this IEM for the first time will not bother to read all 128 pages, MANY of which are filled with very irrelevant information, and will stick to what's been said in those links, many of which were written by a single member who's been raving over the ASG-1s.

I know it's been a while since people discussed the driver flex issue and apparently mine is a version with that resolved but sometimes I get a sort of pulsing feeling in my ear. Is that a driver flex, a problem with my ear itself or the headphones. It goes as soon as I remove them and it has happened twice I think?

 

 

I actually did that, quite a few pages back. Though I dont see how your comment relates to my post and why I was quoted. I completely agree with you though, this thread is a complete disaster at this point. Hundreds of posts blathering about ship dates and customs costs, what a waste.

See the way "(much)" was placed in parentheses? That means business. When people take time to hold shift and reach awkward keys, it's no joke.

Apparently, with great thread starting comes great responsibility.

In all seriousness, this is a good idea. Tedious, but important.

On a sad note, even using "Information" is either walking a fine line or being nice.
That said, this is an online forum, albeit a very focused one, and people are apt to go off on tangents as a matter of course really. Good balance is the key, and amusingly (or not, depending on your perspective) this thread is a train wreck lacking in that regard.
