I placed an order on the 26th, they arrived last week to my auntie, and now need another 10 or so days to come to me.

It's been long for me... really long - since then i've spent more money LOL

I'm still waiting for mine too.

I think they're already in my country, but they're sitting in the Airport mail sorting center, but still not being sent to the local post office so I'll pick them. Oh, the wait.....  

Mine didn't get updated for 4 days after the shipping label was made.  Then it was sent off.  Like I said before, I think they build the IEM on order.  EG, they aren't pre-made if you order from Aurisonics.  They may also get tested before shipping off.  IDK if they actually do though, but it is a thought to keep in mind if they do do it.

EDIT: Comparisons to the following headphones will be made on Friday (tomorrow).  I will also post a full review when it's ready.  I've burned them in for about 97 hours so far (and counting).  By Friday night, they will be over 110 hours if all goes well.

• Westone 4R (by request)
• Etymotic HF2 (most comparable)
• ACS T15 (comparable)

I wonder how many EU or even outside US people actually have these?

I know of only 3 people - 1 based in the UK, 1 in France, and myself. Any others actually have them outside the US?

Its definitely something you shouldn't do to yourself, you won't get it deep enough or properly.

@tinyman392: Dale recently told me "we just keep selling them faster than we can make them", so I think it's just as much a case of not being able to manufacture fast enough to meet demand.

On another subject, are there any more updates from people exploring after-market cables?

I'm going to have to agree with kenman.  Find a professional to do it to ensure it'll actually fit.  An un-fitting custom isn't a good thing at all.

Agreed. After having had impressions taken last week, I can't imagine how I could do this myself without running the risk of doing it too shallow. I didn't realize quite how deep good impressions have to go. It's certainly deeper than I'd ever feel comfortable doing myself! At a certain point - probably the at the 2nd bend - I think my self-preservation instinct would kick-in and I be unable to push the foam any deeper.

That said, the ASG-1s fit shallower than most, so perhaps the customs would be less deep than other CIEMs. Can any owners confirm?

see that's EXACTLY what I was thinking.

Was thinking of the custom sleeves.

But decided to wait until i actually get the product, like them, then think of customs.

If I were to get customs i would want to make SURE that they are actually customs, and are done professionally.
