Seems like you really are are throwing the towel & bowing out.

Just seen your classified. Too bad it hasn't worked out for you. Will you still be  holding onto EPH100'S ?

I'm still waiting on my delivery which is probably stuck with UK customs.  I have decided after all the waiting, i will do my very best to hold onto mine & wait for the 2 driver upgrade which will change the sound signature (shouty mids). If fit is an issue than i will be forced to bow out as well. I have strong hope in these phones.

Just yesterday Gily was saying how he preferred these over the yamas...

These phones seem to be ever so polarising for listeners & hardly leave any middle ground.

I no longer have any any idea of what to expect from the phones when I get them.

I think "polarizing" is a bit too strong of a word, archy121. I don't get that at all. Out of those who didn't get along with the ASG-1, the majority of those people still had good to great things to say about them. It's just that for some it's not their preferred sound signature, and there's nothing wrong with that. I don't see that as any type of great debate here. I think many who have them love them. I can't get with the DBA-02 and didn't like the TF10 all that much until I found the right cable for it. I have a feeling that Aurisionics will remain a successful company, being one of the new kids on the block.

It seems that even our definition of "polarizing" is polarizing!

Seriously though, to my mind the ASG-1 is just like every other significant headphone/earphone out there. Some will love it, some will hate it, and others will fall somewhere in the middle. Isn't that the case with TF10, W3, W4, SE530, RE272, DBA-02, etc etc? As well as LCD-2, LCD-3, HD800, Edition 8, T1, HE6, etc? There will never be a universal headphone loved by all. I've even heard complaints about aspects of the Stax SR-009.

The beauty of a forum such as this - we get to share our experiences, what we like about the Aurisonics sound, what we don't, etc. And we even get to share our ASG-1 so people can try them out for themselves (I swear I'll get that going soon, minor delay came up).

Well with all the technical points already been written over and over, the aurisonics asg-1 coupled with the digizoid zo2 is a keeper.

Level 6, greenish yellow, that color has been enough for me.

Once I receive my ASG-1, actually now wondering if they were sent out Friday?

They will be inserted into the following system :-

DX100 (delivery early next week)  > 3.5mm to RCA silver/gold hybrid cable Oyaide terminated > Triad L3 power supplied by a Firestone Audio Supplier > silver/gold hybrid IEM cable Oyaide plug  > Aurisonics ASG-1
